3 Means To Tell If Your Dog Is Treated Right While Staying At A Hull Dog Kennel
Looking to leave your pet at a Hull Dog Kennel? Are you a little bit worried about how your pet will be treated or how to choose the right one for your pet so that they have an enjoyable stay? You’re not alone!
I have found that there are 3 key things that help my clients as well as me in the past determine if the kennel I chose to leave my pet at was treating them properly or not.
If you want to make sure your pet is having a pleasant stay at any Hull Dog Kennel then you should really take the time to read through the following tell tale signs of whether or not your dog or pet has been treated right at a Hull Dog Kennel or if you should find another place next time.
1. Temperament. I would not suggest judging a kennel by your dog’s temperament when you bring him to the kennel. Whichever dog will not be fond of the thought of being left at a kennel in the first place as they are scared of being abandoned and fear the unknown. After all, it’s their instincts kicking in when something changes in their regular habits. The time to pay attention to their actions is when you pick them up. Are they the same pet in general? Are they acting very strange? Do they cower away from the handler’s? These are signs to look for. To be fair, it may be worthwhile waiting till your back at home to judge your dogs actions as they may still be nervous even when leaving the kennel. Pay close attention over the coming days and weeks. If they seem like their regular selves, then that is a good sign. If not, consider looking for a different Hull Dog Kennel next time.
2. Grooming. Depending on the length of time your dog is at the Hull Dog Kennel and/or if you arranged for extra grooming services, I would pay attention to their general appearance after their stay. They may smell slightly because after all they just spend days with other dogs in a environment that even at best, may smell slightly. But try and judge it fairly and if for whatever reason it is an unbearable stench then that might be a sign to look for a different Hull Dog Kennel. If this takes place simply to your pet, it may also be a sign that your pet gets dirty easier than others and could benefit from a good wash before their pickup if the service is offered.
3. Ask the owners what your pet does. It’s also worthwhile to inquire about your pets behavioral traits while they stay at the Hull Dog Kennel. If the owner cannot answer that question, then they are not paying enough attention to your dog. If however they answer your question with lots of detail, then that is a good sign that your dog is well cared for while they are staying at the Hull Dog Kennel.
These 3 signs will easily help you decide on future Hull Dog Kennels.
