3 Methods To Tell If Your Dog Is Treated Right While Staying At An Ottawa Dog Kennel

I have found that there are 3 key things that help my clients as well as me in the past determine if the kennel I chose to leave my pet at was treating them properly or not.

1. Temperament. I would not suggest judging a kennel by your dog’s temperament when you bring him to the kennel. 2. Grooming. Depending on the span of time your dog is at the Ottawa Dog Kennel and/or if you set for additional grooming services, I would pay notice to their general appearance after their stay. They can smell slightly because after all they just spend days with other dogs in an environment that even at best, may smell slightly. But try and judge it fairly and if for whatever reason it is an unbearable stench then that might be a sign to look for a different Ottawa Dog Kennel. If this happens only to your pet, it may also be a sign that your pet gets dirty easier than others and could benefit from a good wash before their pickup if the service is offered.
3. Ask the owners what your pet does. It’s also worthwhile to inquire about your pets behavioral traits while they stay at the Ottawa Dog Kennel. If the owner cannot answer that question, then they are not paying enough attention to your dog. If however they answer your question with lots of detail, then that is a good sign that your dog is well cared for while they are staying at the Ottawa Dog Kennel.
