RD-400 Dog Tracking System Information
The Innotek RD-400 Dog Tracking System can track 64 dogs up to seven miles away. Innoteks’ back lit display, treeing indicator, and precision tuning make it easy to follow the signal right to your dog. Operates simultaneously on four frequencies: 216, 217, 219 and 220 MHz. This means that a single receiver can track a collar operating on any of these four frequencies. The handheld receiver provides 20 hours of continuous use and operates on a standard 9-Volt alkaline battery, which can easily be changed in the field. The hand-held receiver also features a low battery indicator, and for night viewing it has a back-lit display controlled by a basic on off switch. The lightweight dog collar features a quite thin flexible antenna so it is almost snag free. It is powered by a 3-Volt Lithium battery that provides for approximately 200 hours of continuous use, and is also easily replaced in the field.
The Innotek tracking system allows for both close range tracking (under 1 mile) and long range tracking (up to 7 miles). With the quite adjustable gain control knob conveniently located on the side of the receiver you can readjust the gain for any distance. This will provide you with very precise directional finding, superior to any other tracking units available.
For professional and serious amateur dog trackers, law enforcement, hunters, biologists and anyone else who needs an accurate and reliable tracking system.
The operator has a choice of listening to the signals through the built-in speaker, or headphones (included). Either during the day or nighttime, the backlit display, treeing indicator and precision tuning make it simple to follow the signal right to your dog. The Innotek dog tracking collar operates simultaneously on four frequencies: 216, 217, 219 and 220 MHz. This means that a single multi-frequency RD400 receiver can track a collar operating on any of the four frequencies. The Innotek RD 400 tracking system includes two multi-frequency transmitter collars with 16 channels each.
ach individual collar is basically programmed, either in the field, or at your base. Having a choice of up to 16 different channels on 1 of 4 available frequency bands gives you 64 channels choices to select from, so you will get virtually interference-free tracking. The RD-400 ships with two dog tracking collars, and additional Innotek RD-050 Radio Directional Tracking Collars are available. And, with 64 channels, you could even track up to 64 dogs. But who wants to? Simply stated, the chances of accidentally tracking some else’s dogs is virtually impossible. But, when your friends and neighbors see this unit in action, they will want one too!
Innotek has combined advanced electronics and advanced engineering to create this compact and lightweight dog tracking system. It weighs in at only 16 ounces, and features an instant open vs close design to eliminate slow set up times. Considering the lightweight of the system, it can be carried continually over long distances without the worry of fatigue ending your hunt or work prematurely.
