Chihuahua is the oldest dog breed in America, has a very fine structure of bones but very well developed muscles and their name comes from the region of Chihuahua in Mexic. The dogs of this breed are clannish, they like only dogs of their breed, but they are brave and dont hesitate to accost other dogs, without thinking at any possible injuries.
The Chihuahua requires veterinary attention for its teeth as well as when giving birth and may also suffer some genetic anomalies, some of which may be neurological like epilepsy as well as seizure disorders. Moreover, they easily luxate their patellas or may suffer of hydrocephalus, and this is also related to its bad genetics, acquired during the very long period of breeding.
