The Chihuahua requires veterinary attention for its teeth as well as when giving birth and may also suffer some genetic anomalies, some of which may be neurological like epilepsy as well as seizure disorders. Moreover, they easily luxate their patellas or may suffer of hydrocephalus, and this is also related to its bad genetics, acquired during the very long period of breeding.
