Most people that know honeybees are very afraid and whenever it flies closeby, they will franticly fan it in an attempt to have it go away or killed. Many bees that fly around or close to people aren’t always honey producing bees; they could easily be drones or other types of bees, these seem to be most curious towards people. These don’t have stingers and pose no threat, but the average person does not know the difference.
