How To Guard Your Pets From Ethylene Glycol And Other Harmful Chemicals

Pets are great alarm clocks.  I saw this cool popular video where a kitty, surprisingly named Boo, will wake up his owner every single day at five am by using the doorstop.  I am aware that it is unlikely for a kitty on the opposite side of a closed door to maneuver the doorstop.  Let’s simply say that most cats are usually crafty animals that would take desperate measures to get food.  I’ve got my personal share of animal alarm clocks as well.  Each and every night when the clock hits 9, the dog would start barking and would not stop until I get him out for the walk.

House animals already have a way of controlling their owners.  In my circumstance, I’d do just about anything in order to stop them from either yowling or yapping.  Sadly, the howling and shrieking fest is unlikely to stop soon.  I’ve got a new cat to take care of and I have already been pre-occupied with cat proofing my home.  The very first thing I have done was look for containers of coolants lying around.  Ethylene glycol is actually a chemical in coolants and cats really like them.  This particular chemical is sweet tasting and stands beside plants and water puddles.

Moreover, my more experienced next door neighbors are fierce and highly spirited home gardeners.  In cold wet times, they squirt a mixture of antifreeze on plants and flowers to stop it from drying up.  I have cats and they normally stay in the house yet they have their ways.  I like them however I do not put my trust in them one bit, which is what happens in almost any normal relationships.  In case the felines wish to leave the house, they can follow secret tracks.  Even if animals are wise, they would not understand that the sweet tasting taste of plants is coming from a harmful substance which can affect their own health.

An ethylene glycol supplier won’t be answerable for what will happen to our domestic pets.  They’re simply performing their task to deliver chemical compounds for radiator coolants.  It’s down to me, as well as every other domestic pet owner out there, to protect our own pets from them.  I would personally go to great lengths if I could, but my cats have become touchy when I began caring for them like human beings.  On one occasion, I set up a security camera plugged into my mobile phone so I can easily check out on them even when I’m at work.  They wrecked the camera wires somehow.

It served as a lesson for me. After that, I never once tried to baby them and also changed their lovely names with action movie titles.  They look like they’re happy with that.  I nevertheless do not know just what to name our new kitten.  I am too occupied thinking of the cat litter box.  I thought of doing it by myself since there happen to be many instructions on the internet for litter boxes.  Pets may be pricey but they really are worth every penny. I do not care working three jobs to make sure they remain happy and safe.
